Christ Church Cathedral Choir and acclaimed chamber orchestra Britten Sinfonia join forces for James Macmillan's 'Seven Last Words from the Cross' in this year's Choral Meditation for Holy Week.

Our evening worship on Spy Wednesday features Philip Moore's 'Via Crucis', performed by our Sub-Organist Richard Moore.

On Maundy Thursday, we remember the Last Supper, beginning the special three-day cycle of traditional Holy Week and Easter services known as the Sacred Triduum.

Like the disciples, we keep silent vigil in the night with Jesus following our remembrance of the Last Supper. You are very welcome to join us in reflection as we prepare for Good Friday. The Cathedral will be open until midnight - simply ask at the Lodge on St Aldates and you will be admitted. 

On the morning of Good Friday, we gather to remember the Passion of Jesus. 

Come with us on a journey around the Cathedral as we explore the story of Holy Week and Easter together in this interactive and family-friendly service. Followed by hot cross buns and cocoa.
