Qualifications

Academic background
I completed my undergraduate studies in Law at Magdalen College, Oxford, and the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. I then read the BCL at Merton College, Oxford, for which I was a joint recipient of the Vinerian Scholarship for Best Overall Performance. I completed my DPhil, funded by a Clarendon Scholarship, at Balliol College, Oxford. I was a Lecturer at Christ Church before taking up my current post.
Undergraduate teaching
I teach Torts and Constitutional Law at Christ Church. At the Faculty of Law, I deliver lectures in Torts, a seminar and tutorials in Comparative Law, and tutorials in Comparative and International Trust Law. I have previously taught Land Law and Environmental Law.
Research interests
My research focuses on the intersections between administrative law, property law and torts in England and France. My DPhil project examined the relationship between planning law, the law of servitudes, and the law of nuisance, in the regulation of neighbourhood land use conflicts in the two jurisdictions.
