Qualifications

BEng (Hons, University of Nottingham, Engineering); MSc (University College London, Computer Science); DPhil (Durham University, Computer Science)

Academic background

I am a researcher in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at University of Oxford, based in Torr Vision Group, working with Prof. Philip Torr. I am also a visiting researcher at Microsoft. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at University College London working with Prof. Ricardo Silva from 2023 to 2025. I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from Durham University in 2023, advised by Prof. Alexandra Cristea. I have been actively serving as a member of the program committees in prestigious AI/ML venues (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, IJCAI, AISTATS, UAI and KDD). I co-organized workshop on Scaling Up Intervention Models at ICML 2025 and Scaling Environments for Agents at NeurIPS 2025.

Research interests

My main research interest is machine learning and more broadly artificial intelligence, I use deep learning a lot but often consider myself as a statistical machine learning people. I have worked on Bayesian inference and causality in the past and now exploring the exciting world of LLMs and agents.
